Phoenix Baptist Hospital (Phoenix, AZ)Phoenix Baptist Hospital is a 216-bed, acute-care, community teaching hospital in Phoenix and part of the second largest health system in Arizona: Abrazo Health Care. Like so many hospitals, Phoenix Baptist had a number of crucial RN positions to fill and was using a variety of resources to find good nurses.  Inhouse Assist has become a true partner for their recruiting needs and our process has unmatched delivered results for them. “I enjoy working with Inhouse Assist,” says Recruiting Manager Carmen Hern.  “Like most hospital HR departments, we are a lean department and it’s nice to know that I have an extended team of recruiters working just as hard as I am to find nurses for my hospital. Their service is great and they are always willing to add an extra hand if I need it.  They provide great service and support.” Since signing on with Inhouse Assist, Phoenix Baptist has hired some 15 permanent nurses and has more in the pipeline everyday.  Franciscan Health System (Tacoma, WA)Franciscan Health System is a network of four hospitals and more than 30 primary and specialty care clinics located in the greater Tacoma, Washington area. Struggling to fill a number of critical nurse positions, Franciscan nurse recruiting manager Eden Nava decided to give Inhouse Assist a try; she had tried all the traditional recruitment methods, including costly job fairs and contingent firms. Since signing up for our services in November, she’s hired 13 RN’s- including several specialty positions. “Initially, we were skeptical about working with a sourcing company but Inhouse Assist has done a great job,” Eden said. Working directly with our nursing consultant Dawna Turner, Eden says she’ll never need another resource to recruit nurses for Franciscan. “We are so impressed that Dawna and the Inhouse Assist team were able to get us candidates right away. It was only a matter of days from our initial conference call. Inhouse Assist has been a great resource for us and an excellent bridge between candidates and Franciscan Health System.”  Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA)Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is one of the leading pediatric hospitals and research facilities in the world. CHOP has fostered medical discoveries and innovations that have improved pediatric healthcare and saved countless children’s lives. Even with its renowned reputation, CHOP was facing challenges with nurse recruiting, particularly specialty nurses, and turned to Inhouse Assist in 2008. Regina Welsh, Lead Talent Strategist for CHOP said “my experience working with Inhouse Assist was very positive.”  Working directly with Inhouse consultant Amanda Picton, Regina was able to recruit and hire a well-known Nurse Manager.  “We are continuing to pipeline additional candidates that Amanda presented who we believe will be a match for future opportunities.  I enjoy working with her,” Regina said.  Our Lady of the Lake (Baton Rouge, LA)Dr. Richard Slataper, one of the original 50 Hospitalists in the United States, presented Inhouse Assist with a strict candidate profile for his group of 20 hospitalists. Known for having the highest-caliber physicians, the group is comprised of many former "Chief Residents" and supports more than 200 primary care physicians in the region. Dr. Slataper and his group require a physician candidate to provide references from administrators, other physicians, and nurses to give a clear picture of the candidate beyond their medical qualifications. In other words, Dr. Slataper has the highest standards when it comes to recruiting physicians.  Dr. Slataper engaged Inhouse Assist in July 2008 to find the best physicians who would compliment the group and continue to raise the standards of excellence in the care they provide. Dr Slataper made his first hire with an Inhouse Assist candidate in November and has since hired an additional two. Inhouse Assist has already delivered these three top physicians and as of today, two additional candidates are scheduled for interviews in February.  Dr. Slataper was so impressed with our services that he has referred two additional clients to Inhouse Assist. Dr. Slataper says, "I began this process engaging five different companies to help with my pressing needs. Inhouse Assist is by far number one and there is not anyone in second place."
Memorial Hermann Healthcare System (Houston, TX)Memorial Hermann Healthcare System has seen great success with several key placements using Inhouse Assist, so it’s no surprise that when an urgent need arose they called us. Dr. Jo Pollack, a nationally-renowned breast surgeon and Memorial Hermann Physician of the Year, desperately needed to find a partner for the swelling number of patients turning to Memorial Hermann for treatment. Dr. Pollack wanted to work with another highly trained surgeon with world-class skills as her treatment center has become well known for the quality of care. After unsuccessfully searching for more than 18 months with other firms, Memorial Hermann turned to Inhouse Assist to find much-needed relief for Dr. Pollack. Within 45 days, Inhouse Assist identified and reached two different surgeons who can easily be described as among the top 10 breast surgeons in the country.  In addition to the success in assisting Dr. Pollack, Inhouse Assist has secured a Director of Rheumatology, three top-notch Family Practitioners, and four Internal medicine candidates for Memorial Hermann.  Deborah Enany, internal recruiting manager for Memorial Hermann, said “the quality of work and quality of physicians provided by Inhouse Assist is outstanding." Deborah says she has been impressed with Inhouse Assist’s ability to foster a collaborative recruitment environment by communicating with and engaging current physicians in the recruitment process so that Inhouse Assist can deliver candidates who best align with the culture and values at Memorial Hermann.  Susquehanna Health (Williamsport, PA)Susquehanna Health is a three-hospital health system located in north central Pennsylvania. Susquehanna was facing a number of challenges in recruiting physicians, including the fact that its rural locations are in an economically depressed region and more than three hours drive to any major urban area.  Turning to Inhouse Assist after “exhausting just about every other option,” Susquehanna was delighted to secure an American Trained, Board Certified Otolaryngologist and several Pulmonary Critical Care Specialists. Inhouse is currently working with Susquehanna on two other community needs as well.  “The level of service Inhouse Assist provides is exceptional” said Randy Keister, recruitment manager for Susquehanna Health.  Randy said he was “initially pessimistic and had tried just about everything,” and was growing weary of using outside companies. Of our services, Randy said "Inhouse Assist has credible professionals that actually spend time getting to know me and my system. Furthermore, I have been able to build a solid, trusting relationship with Inhouse Assist and I always know what progress is being made. The level and quality of service is second to NONE!"
